During a companywide meeting, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg addressed Apple's unveiling of the Vision Pro.
Zuckerberg mentioned that the Vision Pro doesn't offer any unique solutions that Meta hasn't already considered.
He highlighted that the Vision Pro costs seven times more than Meta's Quest 3 headset.
Meta's goal is to provide accessible and affordable products to everyone.
The Vision Pro is priced at $3,499, while the Quest 3 is priced at $499 and the Quest Pro at $999.
Zuckerberg pointed out that Meta's metaverse vision is focused on social interactions, while the Vision Pro seems more isolating.
Although acknowledging that Apple's approach could be the future of computing, Zuckerberg stated it wasn't the vision he wanted.
Meta recently provided a preview of the Quest 3, a slimmer and more comfortable mixed reality headset with improved graphics performance, starting at $499 for the 128GB storage.
